The first visit
Come in soon after a positive test. The pregnancy is confirmed and dated, your health and any earlier pregnancies are talked through, and the first blood tests are ordered. You leave knowing what is checked next, and when.
Every scan, explained
A scan is information, and it is yours. Each one is explained as it is done: what is being measured, what it shows, and what the next one is for. Reports from elsewhere are welcome too; bring them along.
Visit after visit, the same doctor
Visits are with Dr. Palaparthi Lalitha Devi, who will already know your story, so nothing has to be told twice. Questions are expected, from the smallest to the ones that feel too silly to ask.
When not to wait
Bleeding, severe pain, a bad headache with blurred vision, or a baby moving less than usual later in pregnancy: go to the nearest emergency department straight away, then let the clinic know.
